DISC Facilitation Coach for Android
Privacy Policy
1. Scope and contact
This Privacy Policy explains how Feels Edu ("Feels Edu," "we," "us," or "our"), the developer of DISC Facilitation Coach, handles information when you use the DISC Facilitation Coach Android application and related support services.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to
moonkyungfill@feelsedu.com.
The app's Android package name is com.feelsedu.facilitationcoach.
2. Information we handle
Workshop drafts stored on your device
Session name, participant description, session goal, notes and readiness state for the four DISC communication styles, saved facilitator phrases, and your AI disclosure acknowledgement are stored in the app's private local storage. We do not upload the full draft to Firebase or our servers merely because you type or save it. Android may include app-private data in a system backup or device transfer if you have enabled those platform features; that copy is controlled by your device and Google account settings.
Anonymous authentication and security data
On launch, the app creates or resumes a Firebase Authentication anonymous user. This produces a pseudonymous user ID and short-lived authentication token. The app also uses Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity to help confirm that requests come from an authentic app installation. Related data may include an app-installation or device-associated identifier, app integrity signals, app version, request time, and basic security metadata. The anonymous user ID is not your name or email address, but it is still treated as user data under this Policy.
If account protection is offered and you choose Continue with Google, the existing Firebase account is linked to the Google account you select. Firebase may then receive the Google account identifier, email address, display name, and profile image associated with that sign-in. The app displays the linked email address and uses the linked account to help restore account-linked purchases. Google sign-in is optional unless the app clearly requires it before a purchase.
AI Coach requests and responses
When you actively request an AI suggestion, the app sends the selected DISC communication style, session name, participant description, session goal, note for that selected style, and up to five saved facilitator phrases, together with a pseudonymous user ID and session ID. The request travels over HTTPS to our authenticated Cloud Run gateway and then to Google Cloud Vertex AI Agent Engine and a Gemini model. The generated response is returned to the app.
Do not enter names, contact details, confidential records, health information, or sensitive statements from individual workshop participants. DISC Facilitation Coach is designed to work with minimal, non-sensitive facilitation context.
AI response reports
If you select Report response, we store a report in Firebase Firestore. Before submission, the report dialog explains that the selected reason and AI response text will be retained for safety review. Choosing a reason submits the report and confirms that inclusion. A report contains a pseudonymous Firebase account reference, a response ID, the reason you select, the AI response text, response source, app version, creation time, and review status. The report does not store your AI prompt, session details, saved facilitator phrases, or DISC note. Reports are used to review potentially offensive or unsafe output and improve filtering and moderation.
Token-credit purchase data, when purchases are available
If DISC Facilitation Coach enables token-credit purchases, checkout is handled by Google Play. We may receive and store a product ID, purchase token, purchase state, transaction time, obfuscated app-account identifier, credit grant and usage ledger, and refund or void status so that we can verify a purchase and provide credits. We do not receive your full payment-card or bank-account details from Google Play.
Minimal technical logs
Our cloud services may process limited request metadata, authentication results, response status, latency, app version, and error type to operate and secure the service. The gateway is designed not to write workshop prompts, notes, model responses, Firebase ID tokens, or full upstream error bodies to application logs.
3. Why we use information
- Provide the DISC-informed facilitation guide, local toolkit, and AI Coach features.
- Authenticate requests and keep one user's session or credits separate from another's.
- Personalize an AI suggestion to the context you choose to submit.
- Detect abuse, duplicate purchase grants, tampered clients, and security incidents.
- Review reported AI responses and improve safety filters and moderation.
- Verify purchases, maintain credit balances, and handle refunds when billing is enabled.
- Diagnose availability and performance problems with minimal technical logs.
- Comply with applicable legal, accounting, consumer-protection, and platform obligations.
Where law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of the service you request, our legitimate interests in security and service improvement, compliance with law, and consent where the app asks for it. You may withdraw optional consent for future processing, such as inclusion of AI response text in a report, before submission.
4. Service providers and disclosure
We use the following Google services to process data on our behalf:
- Firebase Authentication and Google Identity services for anonymous authentication and optional Google account linking.
- Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity for app and request integrity.
- Firebase Firestore for AI response reports and, when enabled, account or credit records.
- Google Cloud Run for the authenticated mobile gateway.
- Vertex AI Agent Engine and Gemini to process AI Coach requests and generate responses.
- Google Play Billing to process token-credit purchases when available.
These providers may process data in countries other than your own under their applicable terms and safeguards. We may also disclose limited information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate notice and safeguards. We do not sell personal data, rent it to data brokers, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Retention
| Data | Typical retention |
|---|---|
| Local session drafts and facilitator toolkit | Until you delete them in the app, clear app data, delete your data, or uninstall; system backups follow Android and Google account settings. |
| Firebase account, optional Google account-link data, and account-linked records | While needed to provide the service, until deletion is requested, or until an inactive account is removed under our retention process. |
| AI session content | No longer than 30 days, unless you request deletion sooner or a longer period is required for a documented security or legal reason. |
| AI response reports | Up to 90 days, or sooner when account-linked data is deleted. |
| Minimal technical and security logs | Kept only as long as operationally necessary, typically no more than 30 days. |
| Purchase and credit records | While credits or refund rights remain active, and afterward only as required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute, or legal obligations. |
Data removed from active systems may remain temporarily in restricted backups until those backups rotate, normally within 30 additional days. We may retain de-identified, aggregated information that can no longer reasonably be linked to a user.
6. Your choices and deletion
- You can use the DISC guide and local toolkit without sending a note to AI Coach.
- You choose whether to submit an AI response report; the report dialog identifies the reason and response text that submission includes.
- You can edit or remove locally stored session content and facilitator phrases from the app.
- You can delete your Firebase account and associated data from Settings → Privacy & data → Delete my data.
- You can submit an external deletion request from our Data Deletion page, including after uninstalling the app.
Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, object to, restrict, or receive a portable copy of certain data. Email us to exercise an applicable right. We may ask for limited information needed to match a Firebase account or purchase record, but we will never ask for a password, Firebase ID token, or full payment-card number.
7. Security
We use HTTPS in production, short-lived Firebase authentication tokens, App Check, access controls, restricted service accounts, and server-side purchase verification when billing is enabled. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please report a suspected security issue to our contact address.
8. Children
DISC Facilitation Coach is a professional workshop-preparation tool and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their location. Do not submit personal or sensitive information about children or other workshop participants. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice in the app when a material change requires it. The Terms of Service also apply to use of DISC Facilitation Coach.
